Thoughts on the whole Twitter vs FB vs Google+ Fistfight

First of all, it is slightly crazy to me that more tech influencers are talking more about the "battle" between Twitter and Google+ than Facebook and Google+. That just kinda boggles me. I am not saying that these writers are bat-pooped crazy, but I feel that they are comparing apples to oranges.

Scoble wrote in this Google+ account (which he seems to be replacing his blog with) that he feels like Google+ will beat out twitter due to the large interactions/conversations he has on Google+ compared to Twitter. While I do believe twitter does need some improvements on how conversations work and engagement is measured, you are still talking about two very different products that just should be compared in that way. You can never write a whole blog post on twitter, and because of that, you will never get the same comments and conversations you get on blog-like avenues you do on Google+ and Facebook on Twitter.
